Day 28: Consistency Under Real-Life Pressure
I'm on day 28 of the Make America Burpee Again challenge and I haven't missed a single day. That includes full-time work, wedding planning, travel, and all the normal chaos that usually derails a routine.
Some days were fast. Some were grindy. But I kept the streak alive, and it has turned into something bigger than a challenge.
PR: 5:18
Somewhere along the way I hit a new PR of 5:18. That time doesn't come from a one-off hero day. It comes from stacking days when you don't feel like it.
The burpees have become a daily reset:
- 5 minutes of focus
- No excuses, no negotiation
- A win before the day really starts
The Lesson So Far
If you can keep a simple daily commitment while juggling work, travel, and life plans, you can do hard things. Momentum compounds. Once the habit is locked, everything else gets easier.
If you're considering the challenge, start now. You don't need perfect conditions. You just need a starting line.
