Shoe Rotation Strategy

Why Multiple Pairs?

Rotating between different shoes reduces injury risk and extends shoe life. Each shoe stresses your body slightly differently, promoting adaptation and resilience.

My Recommendation: 2-3 Pairs

1 Racing Shoe: Vaporfly or similar. Use for race day and key workouts (tempo runs, intervals).

1-2 Training Shoes: Pegasus, Nimbus, or similar. Rotate for daily mileage and long runs.

This setup balances cost with performance and injury prevention.

When to Replace

Racing shoes: 150-200 miles. Training shoes: 350-500 miles. Track your mileage and replace before the cushioning breaks down.
